Dr. Wright is an expert in the field of patient adherence. He is an Author, International Lecturer, and Professor of Psychiatry and Mental Health Nursing. He develops training programs in Healthcare Adherence Management, Nurse Leadership, and Hospital Administration.
His accomplishments include being a Green Beret Medic and a retired US Army Major. He was an Audiologist developing some of the most effective hearing conservation programs in the military by using adherence management techniques. He guided the development of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center (BIRC) at Orlando Regional Medical Center, teaching staff and patients the tools necessary to improve patient behaviors.
He was the CEO at the Threshold Center for Autism in Orlando, Florida. He is the Founder and CEO of Behavioral Education and Research Services, Inc. (BEARS), where he develops training materials for healthcare teams to promote patient adherence and Nursing Applied Behavior Leadership (N-ABLe) programs.
